Interfaculty Institute for Biochemisty
In accordance with its traditional functions in the fields of biochemisty, medicine and biology, the main focal points of research at the Interfaculty Institute for Biochemistry (IFIB) are to a large extent concentrated on issues which show a close relation to medicine, pharmacology, cell and molecular biology, and microbiology.
The Interfaculty Institute for Biochemistry is located on the Schnarrenberg between the Crona Hospitals, the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and the "BG" Hospital. One third of the Institute belongs to the Faculty of Medicine and two thirds to the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.
