Core Facility for Medical Bioanalytics
The Medical Bioanalytics core facility is part of the Medical Proteome Center at the Institute for Ophthalmic Research. We provide resources and services to allow researchers access to proteomic and metabolomic analysis for their research. Thanks to extensive counselling in the planning, implementation and analysis stages even non-experts can get started utilizing state-of-the-art mass spectrometry methods. Our collaboration with the Quantitative Biology Center QBiC means that data storage and bioinformatics analysis are included in our range of services.

Feel free to get in touch with us or QBiC as soon as you start planning an experiment, but be sure to contact us before you begin to take or generate samples. Together we can evaluate your chances of success and talk about how you can improve them. At this point a joint consultation with QBiC will take place, during which you should present your project so that we can assist you in planning your study and so that we can draw up a price quote.
After you have acquired samples, they can be delivered to QBiC and given a barcode so that it is possible to track the samples. As soon as measurements are available, the data will be analyzed by QBiC, and the results can be called up online by the users.
Long-term data storage is provided by QBiC, and services are billed directly by QBiC.
