iFIT Seminar Series with Dr. Kerstin Haase
Characterising genomic intra-tumour heterogeneity and its effect on cancer cell state diversity

On behalf of the iFIT spokespersons Lars Zender, Hans-Georg Rammensee and Bernd Pichler, it is our pleasure to inform you about and invite you to the next episode of our iFIT Seminar Series 2023 that will take place
on Wednesday, August 2nd at 02:00 pm s.t. (CEST)
at Crona HS 210 (Crona Kliniken, Hoppe-Seyler-Straße 3, 72076 Tübingen).
Our guest speaker Dr. Kerstin Haase from Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin (MDC) in Berlin will give a talk on
“Characterising genomic intra-tumour heterogeneity and its effect on cancer cell state diversity”.
“Kerstin Haase obtained her undergraduate degree in bioinformatics from the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich and her PhD from the Technical University of Munich, focusing on viral evolution. Afterwards, she joined the cancer genomics group at the Francis Crick Institute (London, UK) to characterise aberrations in cancer genomes as part of the Pan-cancer Analysis of Whole Genomes. In 2019, Kerstin joined the functional genomics of paediatric cancers lab at the Charité Berlin to study the contribution of extrachromosomal circular DNA to intra-tumour heterogeneity and evolution by developing bespoke computational approaches.”
All members of the University Hospital and University of Tübingen are invited to participate!
We look forward to this Seminar Series session and to see you there!
