Stuttgart Airport is situated approximately 35 kilometres from Tübingen. By car or taxi, Tübingen can be reached in approximately 20 minutes. Please plan in a little more time if you will be making this journey during rush-hour periods. A bus service operating in both directions several times a day is an additional option.

From the main railway station - directly opposite of which you will find the main bus station - you can reach all our Hospitals with the town buses ("Stadtbus").

Please check whether your train or flight ticket is also valid for bus services.

"Tal" Hospitals: 
Bus routes no. 5, 13, 18, 19, X15 and the night buses ("Nachtbus") N97, N94and N93. 

For the return trip you can board the buses from the bus stops: 

"Kliniken Tal", "Uni Hölderlinstrasse", "Stadtgraben", "Calwerstrasse", "Parkhaus König"

Green Zone (Umweltzone)
Tübingen contains a Green Zone, where environmental badges are obligatory for every vehicle (except in cases of medical emergency).

Continue on the A8 motorway until you reach the exit 52 for Tübingen / Reutlingen

Take the B27 and head south, direction Tübingen.

Continue as in the paragraph "From Stuttgart airport":

Leave the airport and head for the B27 (Stuttgart - Tübingen)

Take the B27 and head south, direction Tübingen.

When you reach Tübingen, take the second exit "Tübingen Nord, Kliniken, Kunsthalle" (Tübingen north, Hospitals, Arts Centre). Follow the signs for "Zentrum, Uni-Kliniken Tal".

At the lecture hall "Kupferbau" turn right into the Gmelinstraße.

Parking:

After approx. 600 m you will see the multi-storey car park "P3 Kliniken Tal" on the left-hand side of the road.

Please park your vehicle in the multi-storey car parks located in the vicinity of the Clinics. Long-term parking places are not available on clinic premises. 

If you have problems walking or you are confined to a wheelchair, it is possible for you to drive onto clinic premises in order to get out of your vehicle. Please ask for further information at the main entrance. Parking places for the disabled are also available at several locations on the Hospital Clinic premises.

Stay on the N4 until you reach the "Autobahnkreuz Singen" (motorway intersection Singen).

Take the A81 motorway, direction Stuttgart Take the exit for Rottenburg and head for Tübingen

After approximately 11 km, turn left twice, direction Wurmlingen / Tübingen / Reutlingen.

In Wurmlingen turn right and follow the signs for "Tübingen-Süd, Hirschau".

At the first set of traffic lights, approx. 2 km after Hirschau, turn left, direction Tübingen.

After the town sign Tübingen move into the lane for "Herrenberg, Nordstadt, Kliniken".

At the third set of traffic lights turn left and carry on through the tunnel on the B28.

Directly after the tunnel, turn right and follow the direction "Zentrum, Uni-Kliniken Tal".

After the ESSO service station turn left into the Belthlestraße.

Follow the route to the next set of traffic lights and turn left into the Schnarrenberg.

After approx. 400 m follow the signs for "Uni-Kliniken Tal" and turn right into the Gmelinstraße.
