iFIT Symposium: Diversity, Inclusion & Family in Science
We are very happy to inform and invite you to the iFIT Symposium Diversity, Inclusion & Family in Science taking place on October 30th, 2024.
With this symposium we will explore and dive into the challenges faced by those whose scientific path took them far from their homeland. National and international but overall successful researchers in life sciences will share with the audience their experience about working and living abroad: its beauty, the challenges, and tips/advice on how to make the best of it – a glimpse on how they manage the delicate balance between a career in science, family and the cultural aspects.
We will also count with the contribution of an experienced coach who will talk about diversity & inclusion in science in the academic context, and with a representative of the Medical Faculty who will talk about the existent programs on diversity, inclusion, internationalization and family in the University Tübingen and University Hospital Tübingen. The program also includes roundtable sessions with the guest speakers with the purpose to provide an unique opportunity for networking and for a more private Q&A session.
- The symposium is open to all researchers within the University of Tübingen and University Hospital Tübingen: to register in the symposium simply register via Email – the deadline for registration is on October 11th 2024.
- Child care will be available: to register your child/children simply complete and sign the attached document (available in EN and DE) and send it as reply via Email – the deadline for child care registration is on September 16th 2024 .
We are very much looking forward to hosting this event and seeing you there!
