Burnout Syndrome
While the symptoms of depression have been known since ancient times (as melancholia), the "burnout" syndrome was first described in the 70s in highly motivated social professionals.
In the meantime, people in all occupational groups are affected. The symptoms of "burnout", ranging from work stress to manifest depression, anxiety or sleep disorders, are often fluid.
In the consultation, a diagnostic interview is conducted to classify the psychological and physical symptoms. If indicated, further examinations are arranged and/or individual treatment suggestions are made.
