Advanced PET imaging of cancer for personalized medicine

Molecular imaging has made tremendous progress in the areas of imaging technology, imaging probe and contrast development, data quality, and machine learning-based data analysis. Despite recent technological advances and the availability of dozens of disease-specific contrast agents and imaging probes, few parameters such as tumor size or mean tracer uptake are used in clinical practice to evaluate images.
