The Interfaculty Institute for Biomedical Informatics (IBMI) was founded in 2019 as a cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Tübingen. The IBMI combines the existing expertise in the fields of bioinformatics and medical informatics in Tübingen and, in addition to the faculties, also links the University Hospital, the Max Planck Institutes and Cyber Valley.
