Description of the program
The AI 4 Med BW is a graduate program for doctoral candidates doing their research at the interface of Artificial Intelligence and Medicine It is a joint initiative of the Medical Faculties in Baden Württemberg, partly financed by the Ministry of Science and Research and coordinated by the Medical Faculty of Tübingen
AI 4 Med BW offers excellent research training and supervision of the candidates to prepare them for an international and interdisciplinary career in science and by this to strengthen the field of artificial intelligence in medicine PhD candidates work on their research projects, supported by a network of researchers of many different disciplines An accompanying curriculum promotes networking among the doctoral candidates and offers workshops and lectures designed by the supervising faculties and departments Frequently, program chairs and coordinators at the five faculties in Baden Württemberg come together to discuss the development of the program and plan further joint activities
