Diversity Day 2022

Today is United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development! Centerpiece is not only to highlight the richness of the world’s cultures, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.

Gender equality and diversity are essential components of scientific quality as well. Different point of views, various perspectives and being open minded are crucial parts of scientific work. Our Cluster of Excellence combines over 130 individuals from more than 20 countries all with different scientific records and backgrounds but united in the goal to develop innovative and novel cancer therapies! On World Diversity Day we asked members of our Cluster, from PhD to principal investigator level, what their understanding of diversity in science is.
