M3 Summer Symposium took place with over 200 participants

The M3 Research Center's Summer Symposium proved to be a major success this year, drawing over 200 attendees from across the scientific community. The symposium offered a full day of cutting-edge scientific presentations, vibrant discussions, and memorable moments, culminating in an evening celebration filled with good food and music.
The event was opened by Prof. Heikenwälder and Prof. Malek, who welcomed guests and introduced a rich agenda featuring internationally recognized researchers. Across three chaired sessions, the symposium covered a diverse spectrum of topics — from tumor immunology and the human microbiome to metabolic disease and cellular plasticity.
Afterwards, the Symposium transitioned into a lively evening Get-together. While conversation continued over drinks and dinner, a DJ set the tone for celebration. Furthermore, the arrival of an ice cream truck added a touch of summer joy to the scientific gathering.
