Symposium: New Horizons in Precision Medical Imaging & Therapy

As an outstanding scientist, Mikhail and his lab have developed the first gene-encoded reporter genes for single-cell resolution ultrasound imaging and discovered fundamental biophysical, biomedical, and biochemical mechanisms with applications in oncology and neurology. The two-day symposium was a great success with nearly 100 participants. Several lectures by international experts such as Prof. Mickaël Tanter from INSERM, Prof. David Maresca from Delft University of Technology, Prof. Gil Westmeyer from the Technical University of Munich, Prof. Leif Schröder from the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and many others provided interesting insights into cutting-edge research.
