The University Hospital Executive Board of Directors runs the University Hospital and is the supervisory authority for all the institutions belonging to the Hospital. It currently has five members. The Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors is the Managing Medical Director. The Deputy Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Directors is the Commercial Director. The Deputy Managing Medical Director, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and the Director of Nursing are also members of the Board.

The Commercial Directorate is the head of the hospital administration and, according to §2 of the rules of procedure, is the deputy chairman of the hospital board. Dr. Daniela Harsch has been Commercial Director of the University Hospital since 1 January 2024. Since 1.12.2014, Christian Anton, Head of the Human Resources Division, has been Deputy Commercial Director. Since 01.01.2024, Mr. Holger Diemer, GBL Finance, has also been Deputy KD. The external representation of the clinic is carried out jointly by the Chief Medical Director and the Commercial Director.
