iFIT Lunch & Learn Session with Dr. Kilian Schober
On behalf of the iFIT spokespersons Lars Zender, Juliane Walz and Bernd Pichler, it is our pleasure to inform you about and invite you to the next iFIT Lunch & Learn Session 2024 that will take place
on Monday, July 1st at 12:00 pm (CEST)
at Big Lecture Hall in the ENT Clinic (HNO Klinik, Elfriede-Aulhorn-Straße 5, 72076 Tübingen).
Our guest speaker, Dr. Kilian Schober (University Hospital of Erlangen, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg ) will give a talk on
“Understanding & Engineering Human Antigen-Specific T Cell Immunity”.
T cells provide protection against infections or cancer, but can also cause autoimmunity. T cells recognize their targets through the T cell receptor, forming clonotypes with common antigen specificities. This talk will highlight advances in the field of genetic engineering of T cell responses, and shed light on how the expression of a given T cell receptors imprints T cell fate.
