About us
The Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (HIH) together with the Neurological Clinic of the University Hospital Tübingen form the "Hertie Center for Neurology". This close link between research excellence and practical application is a unique selling point of the HIH compared to other brain research institutions. The underlying bundling of public resources and private endowment funds is unique in Germany. The structural integration of the HIH with the Neurological Clinic has created a multifunctional institution that provides clinical brain research, medical treatment and scientific training in equal measure.
