Anna Wolfram awarded prestigious Add-on Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Life Science

Anna Wolfram, a Joint PhD candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen and Chemistry at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, has received the highly competitive Add-on Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Life Science from the Joachim Herz Foundation. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Lisa Sevenich in Neuroscience and Prof. Dr. Carlos Romero-Nieto in Chemistry, Anna's work bridges these fields with innovative research.
Her project aims to develop a reproducible ex vivo assay for mode-of-action studies, a tool poised to advance early-stage drug design and benefit pharmacology and toxicology research.
The Add-on Fellowship provides flexible financial support, awarding up to 12,500 euros over two years, with an additional 3,000 euros for fellows with children. This support empowers Anna to expand her expertise and make meaningful contributions to preclinical drug research, highlighting the foundation's commitment to interdisciplinary innovation.
