Specifically, the goal is to investigate potentially synergistic effects of L-DOS47 in combination with checkpoint inhibitors in relevant cancer models. DOS47 is Helix's proprietary oncology platform technology that offers a novel and revolutionary approach to the attenuation and destruction of cancer cells.

In addition, the collaboration will also explore the potential for the development of novel L-DOS47-based radiotracers for use in translational immuno-oncology and molecular imaging. HelixBiopharma relies on Tübingen's long-standing and international expertise in the field of preclinical imaging, which is concentrated in the Werner Siemens Imaging Center. On the Tübingen side, the research collaboration is led by Prof. Dr. André Martins and PD Dr. Manfred Kneilling, both of whom are part of the iFIT Cluster of Excellence, the only oncology cluster of excellence in Germany.
