iFIT researchers at the Science Day of the University of Tübingen

At the Science Day of the University of Tübingen, the general public was able to get an idea of the excellent research at the science location Tübingen. Either directly on site in the lecture hall or via live stream, the audience could get to know current research projects on the topics of cancer research, machine learning and infectiology in more detail. Researchers Prof. Dr. Bettina Weigelin, Dr. Judith Feucht and Prof. Dr. Josef Leibold spoke on behalf of the iFIT Cluster of Excellence. Thus, Ms. Weigelin explained in more detail about the topic "T Killer Cells in the Fight against Cancer - Success Requires Teamwork", Ms. Feucht about the topic "Living Drugs: How to Strengthen the Body's Own Immune System for the Fight against Cancer", while Mr. Leibold gave a lecture about "The Achilles Heel of Cancer - How to Turn the Strengths of Tumor Cells into their Weaknesses".
