iFIT Symposium 2022

On May 31 the time had finally come: Our first iFIT Symposium finally took place in presence! Numerous short presentations on the topic of cancer research by our scientists and partners led to great discussions. The range of topics was broad, from molecular therapies to immunotherapies to multiparametric imaging, so that the status quo and the future of cancer research at the Tübingen site were illuminated from all perspectives. The program included four talk sessions with up to six short presentations each. After an exhausting, but no less interesting and successful part, the day ended on the roof terrace of the event location.

Prof. Mathias Heikenwälder gives a talk on the characterization of the immunological microenvironment in liver cancer

Spokesperson Prof. Lars Zender presented interesting findings on spontaneous senescence and its role in oncogenesis

Prof. Juliane Walz gave an exciting talk on the clinical adaptation of peptide-based immunotherapies
