iFIT Symposium on Diversity, Inclusion & Family in Science

😍 What a fantastic event it was last week! Our iFIT Symposium on Diversity, Inclusion & Family in Science led to fruitful discussions on the current & future challenges regarding this topic. 

🙏 A big thank you to our speakers, who shared their experience and knowledge in dealing with obstacles on their scientific carrer path, especially concerning diversity and family issues. 

🤗 After the inspiring insights from our speakers, the participants had the chance to talk to them in small groups during a round table session and receive advice on how to deal with future challenges in academia.

🚧 It is safe to say that there is still a lot work to do when it comes to the challenges we are currently still facing, especially in terms of compatibility of career and family. 💪 But we are confident that things are slowly and steadily moving in the right direction.
