iFIT Workshop: Fundamentals of Scientific Writing

Strong scientific writing is essential for communicating research results effectively. In the “Fundamentals of Scientific Writing” workshop, Dr. Birgit Hollenbach will provide iFIT researchers with practical tools and strategies to improve the structure, clarity and impact of their scientific manuscripts.

Over two interactive days, participants will learn how to analyze and structure scientific texts, write concise and clear sentences, develop strong introductions and discussions and apply established writing principles such as IMRaD and TEEL.

The workshop combines short theoretical inputs with hands-on exercises using examples from scientific publications and offers participants the opportunity to directly apply the techniques to their own writing projects.
