Jens Bauer recieves two-year research grant from EHE foundation
🏆 Congratulations to Dr. Jens Bauer on receiving a two-year research grant from the EHE Foundation to advance precision immunotherapy for epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE).
🎥 In the LinkedIn video (Link), Jens Bauer introduces the project and its vision for future T cell-based therapies in EHE.
🔬 At the iFIT - Cluster of Excellence, we are proud to celebrate this important recognition of Jens Bauers work in the the Department of Peptide-based Immunotherapy led by Prof. Dr. med. Juliane Walz at Universitätsklinikum Tübingen.
🧬 Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is an ultra-rare vascular cancer driven by characteristic gene fusions. Supported by the EHE Foundation, the leading global organization dedicated to advancing research and improving the lives of people affected by EHE. This project aims to identify novel immune targets presented by EHE tumor cells and pave the way for future T cell-based immunotherapies tailored to this devastating disease.
👏 We warmly congratulate Jens on this prestigious international funding award and look forward to the insights his research will generate for patients with EHE and for the broader field of precision cancer immunotherapy.
