Juliane Walz at the 2026 CIMT Annual Meeting

Juliane Walz, iFIT spokesperson and W3 Professor for Peptide-based Immunotherapy, was a speaker at the 2026 CIMT Annual Meeting (May 10–13) - Europe’s leading conference dedicated to cancer immunotherapy research and development.

In her talk “Peptide-based Immunotherapy -  Bench to Bedside Developments” Juliane Walz discussed the peptide vaccine pipeline and provided insights into how peptide-based immunotherapy approaches are progressing from fundamental research toward clinical application.

For more than two decades, the CIMT Annual Meeting has brought together the global immunotherapy community, connecting academia, industry, clinicians, and regulatory experts to advance innovation in cancer treatment. The strong emphasis on collaboration and translational science once again highlighted why CIMT remains an important platform in the field.

Juliane and her team members Naomi Hönisch-Gravel and Anna Dengler summarized their experience:
“We had an amazing time at CIMT 2026! What a great conference full of inspiring research and conversations that remind us why this work matters.”

Thank you to the organizers and the entire CIMT community for fostering such an open and collaborative scientific exchange.
