M3 Winter Symposium took place with over 150 participants
Last week the Winter Symposium of the IM1 and the M3 Research Center took place as an inspiring collection of cutting- edge presentations, discussions and exchange about the latest topics IM1 and M3 ´s researchers are currently working on.
A variety of different topics and many of our scientists came to speak along the agenda of the Symposium.
After this long and successful day, there was of course some time for a gathering to celebrate, for community and to get into the well- deserved Christmas mood that awaits all of our staff in the upcoming days.
The closure event in the evening took place on the well-decorated second floor of the M3 and was opened by Prof. Heikenwälder and Prof. Malek.
We appreciated to welcome and invite more than 150 guests from our principal investigators, scientists from our 22 research groups as well as their families and relatives.
While enjoying classical swabian food and warming drinks, there was made lots of space for enriching conversations and connecting between our sections and all of our M3 and IM1 members.
Besides that, highlights like our highly enjoyed annual Secret Santa-Gifting took place and rounded off this inspiring and pleasant day!
We wish all of our members a well-deserved Christmas-break and some time to restore for a successful and good start in the upcoming new year of 2026!
