Innovation Meeting of the M3 Research group leaders in Bad Boll

From 8th until 9th of January all research groups leaders of the M3 were invited to take part in the retreat on “Translation between scientific research and clinical implementation”, in Bad Boll, Germany.
Besides the main topic of translation, the retreat was about private-public partnerships, patents, tech transfer and clinical application. Several talks from external as well as internal speakers from the M3 added stimulating input to discussions. It was an honour for us to welcome specialists for translation from other leading companies, institutions on our retreat.
Prof. Dr. R. Kindervater (Ch. Business Development Off. Bosch Health Campus), Dr.  M.Wanko (Founder and Managing Director of XISTA), Dr. S. Eisenbeis (IM1 Studienzentrale) and Prof. Dr. J.Tchorz (Institut für Vegetative und Klinische Physiologie, Tübingen) brought plenty of inspiring input to the agenda.

 Other important topics that were discussed at the retreat:
 •    Identification of potential projects, drug candidates, concepts within the M3 for translation
 •    Identification of bottlenecks, needed cooperation and knowledge
 •    Development of an M3 strategy to foster translation
