Science meets Christmas: iFIT Merry Science Event!

🎄 🎅 Christmas is just around the corner! Now is the time to come into a happy season mood! And what better event is there to do so with our traditional iFIT Merry Science!

🤩 We had over 100 members attending this year's gathering! Not only because of the fantastic and tasteful 🥩 Barbecue but also regarding our Poster Session for our 👩‍🎓 👨‍🎓 PhDs and Postdocs! This time we had a record number of 32 posters with a great mixture of molecular therapy, immunotherapy and preclinical imaging! 🔍 Our jury members Hans-Georg Rammensee, Matthias Gehringer & Johannes Schwenck had a hard time finding the best three contribution due to the strong competitive field but finally came to a satisfying result.

🏆 The winners of this year's iFIT Merry Science Poster Award are:

🥇 Naray Payab with her poster: "Physiological characterization of a tissue perfusion system for imaging immune-tumor interactions in live tissues" worth 10,000€

🥈 Athina Anastasia Moschopoulou with her poster "Development and characterization of kinase sparing TPX2-tethering Aurora Kinase A ligands for the therapy of cancer" worth 7,500€

🥉 Isabelle Rottmann & Yizheng Zheng with their poser "Integrating whole-organ light-sheet and highly multiplexed microscopy to investigate adoptive T cell responses in metastatic breast cancer lesions” worth 5,000€

🍪 And not to forget the winner of our Cookie Contest! Martina Rausch and her 🦌 Reindeer Cookies were the undisputed winners, both outer appereance and taste wise!
