Spokesperson Lars Zender as guest speaker in Singapore

Last week at the German Cancer Congress, now already in the Lion City of Singapore 🇸🇬!

💬Our spokesperson Lars Zender was invited to speak at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine Med Excel Seminar at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore!

📢The series was designed to spotlight LKCMedicine’s eight research programmes through focused, in-person seminars covering themes such as AI in healthcare, microbiome science, and regenerative medicine. Each session brings together faculty, students, clinicians, and industry collaborators for cross-cutting conversations grounded in translational relevance.

🔬Lars presented his talk "From Bench to Bedside: Discovery and Development of First-in-class MKK4 Inhibitors to enhance liver regeneration and prevent liver failure" showing a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor increasing liver regeneration upon hepatectomy in murine and porcine models. This could have the potential to restore hepatocyte regeneration of acute and chronic liver diseases in the future.
