Two students visiting iFIT

From August 28th to September 1st, two young cancer researchers were at work with us. Ella and Hanna spent a week with us at the iFIT Cluster of Excellence for a school internship and took a look behind the scenes of cancer research.

But they didn't just watch, they were also able to get hands-on during their voluntary internship! Cutting tissue samples themselves, staining them for the microscope and even looking at our immune cells how they fight against cancer. 👩‍🔬 Almost like real cancer researchers!
