Virology Lecture Among the Top 5 Courses in Molecular Medicine

We are very happy to share some exciting news: our lecture 'Virology' has been selected as one of the Top 5 teaching courses in Molecular Medicine based on the official student evaluations of the Summer Semester 2025 and Winter Semester 2025/2026.

Every year, the best courses in each study program are recognized based on their overall evaluation scores and awarded by the respective deans of studies. This year, Virology was honored alongside Molecular Biology II – Practical Course, Cell Biology II – Practical Course, Advanced Immunology, and Oral Communication.

For us, this recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from student feedback. Seeing students engage with these topics and appreciate the course is incredibly rewarding. At the same time, this award is very much a team effort. A lecture like this only works because many colleagues contribute their expertise, ideas, and enthusiasm. We would therefore like to warmly thank Profs. T. Iftner, D. Sauter, M. Schindler, and F. Stubenrauch for helping to shape and continuously improve the course.
