World Cancer Research Day
Lung, breast, prostate or skin. Cancer has many different faces. In Germany alone, around 231,000 people lost their battle against cancer in 2019. Thus, a quarter of all deaths were due to the disease. But there are bright spots in the fight against this serious disease. Since 2019 iFIT has been combining cancer research expertise in a consortium of scientists that is unique in Germany. Our goal: to develop new innovative cancer therapies and thus sustainably improve the lives and quality of life of people with cancer. For World Cancer Research Day we have compiled three presentations from this year's Science Day, in which Prof. Dr. Bettina Weigelin, Dr. Judith Feucht and Jun. Prof. Dr. Josef Leibold give you insights into their cancer research from the iFIT Cluster. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/3GCmER4Pi20
