Children's University Researcher Day 2023

In the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes and Watson! During last weekend's Children's Researcher Day at the University of Tübingen our young visitors were able to learn how the genetic fingerprint can help criminologists hunt down criminals. All DNA is different and people, but also animals or plants, can be individually identified beyond doubt by their genetic information. This is used, among other things, in criminology to search for suspects. Our young scientists had a lot of fun and were able to identify the perpetrator!
