Dimitri Stowbur receives Science2Start award

🏆 Celebrating innovation from Tübingen!

We are delighted to congratulate Dr. Dimitri Stowbur, iFIT - Cluster of Excellence member and researcher at the Hospital of the University of Tübingen, on receiving 2nd prize in the Science2Start competition 2026 for his innovative approach to cancer theranostics, which he aims to translate into practice through the founding of Senova Theranostics.

🚀 Senova Theranostics will develop an innovative imaging platform designed to make senescent tumor cells visible and therapeutically targetable - opening up new possibilities for more precise cancer treatment.

🤝 We are also proud that Prof. Bernd Pichler and Prof. Lars Zender both iFIT spokespersons, will contribute their expertise as members of the Senova Theranostics Advisory Board.
