iFIT Big in Japan

"Big in Japan 🎶 " Our iFIT and Werner Siemens Imaging Center members Laimdota Zizmare, Sisi Deng, Gyuntae Bae and Christoph Trautwein spent the last couple days in the land of the rising sun 🇯🇵

🏯 They were part of the 20th Annual Conference of the Metabolomics Society that took place in Osaka! And what a succesful visit it was!

㊗ Sisi gave a great talk about her and Christoph's previously published paper during the Cancer session: Image-guided metabolomics and transcriptomics reveal tumour heterogeneity in luminal A and B human breast cancer beyond glucose tracer uptake: https://lnkd.in/e-44x7WK

🏆 Laimdota received the METABOART Award for the 2nd place 🥈 in recognition of her outstanding work in creativley presenting her research in metabolomics!
