iFIT receives funding for second period!

Hard work pays off! 💪

🙏We are incredibly grateful that we are able to continue our successful journey in conducting cancer research at the highes level! 🤯 Being part of six Clusters of Excellence at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen is a great achievement which all of us in Tuebingen can be proud of! 🔬 It shows what an outstanding research environment has been created over the years with tremendous opportunities for example with the NCT Nationales Centrum für Tumorerkrankungen as a great bench to bedside pipeline!

💪Our journey which led us to this point was definetely not an easy one but it was worth every single second of dedication, perseverance and passion! 👏 This would have never been able without such great 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬 scientists beginning with our PhD students and all the way up to our spokespersons! 🎯 Also the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen has been a reliable partner in our overall goal to improve cancer patients' prognoses!

💡 But our journey is far from over! 🏃‍♀️ There are still many miles to go and we all know that cancer research is not a sprint, but countless marathons! We are therefore all the more pleased that the German Research Foundation has given us the opportunity to continue on our chosen path for the next seven years!
