New Scientific Coordinator: Marcia Goettert

Marcia is our new iFIT Scientific Coordinator since the beginning of this year. Before joining our Cluster she was responsible for planning and implementing of cooperation projects between 12 Brazilian Universities and the University of Tübingen, as well as subsequent evaluation. In our cluster she will be in charge of the following tasks, including:
- Collaboration in the preparation of the continuation proposal as part of the excellence strategy.
- Project planning with milestones, tasks, resources and time frame.
- Monitoring and adjusting strategies during the course of the project as part of risk and quality management
- Preparing regular reports for the Executive Board and iFIT members
- Follow up and evaluate our objectives to identify learning points for future projects.
- Advice on project management of research projects at PhD, group leader and professorship level with support for team building and communication.
- Comprehensive data and information management
Marcia has 10 years of experience in personal and organizational management. In addition, she has many years of experience in planning, leading, and executing projects. She did her doctoral degree in Tübingen and has been a professor in the Biotechnology field in Brazil for 10 years.
