Pharmacy students visiting us!

🏖 Summertime has finally arrived! 🌡 Temperatures above 30°C & ☀  sunshine scream for vacation! Well, there are also other ways to enjoy the summer 😉  Four 👩‍🎓 👨‍🎓 pharmacy masterstudents from Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen are currently completing their elective subject at the Werner Siemens Imaging Center and our Cluster! This week they are visiting the Radiopharmacy and are getting insights from Gerald Reischl and his team. 💊 For example, they got to know the production process of established radiopharmaceuticals for patient care on PET/CT and for nuclear medicine therapy and were able to see how a cyclotron for the production of radioactive PET isotopes works.

👩‍🔬 The upcoming two weeks they will spend time in the Radiochemistry section together with our member and supervisor Anna Junker! All students were amazed about how exciting applied pharmacy can be! (and happy that our labs are air-conditioned 😁 )
