Prof. Lars Zender at the EASL Congress in Amsterdam

✈️🌎Last week at the AACR in 🇺🇸 Chicago, yesterday already on stage at this year's Annual Meeting of the EASL | The Home of Hepatology in the city of 🇳🇱 Amsterdam!

🤗 We are proud that our spokesperson 👨‍🔬 Lars Zender gave the Karl Wilhelm von Kupffer State of the Art Plenary Lecture at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL). The EASL Congress, held in the 🌷 capital of the Netherlands from May 7-10, hosts over 8,000 delegates from around the world.

📃 In his lecture Lars summarized the entire 💊 “MKK4 story,” from the identification of MKK4 as a therapeutic target for enhancing liver regeneration (Wuestefeld T et al., Cell 2013), through the 🔬 development of first in class pharmacological MKK4 inhibitors and their preclinical characterization (Zwirner S et al., Cell 2024), to the first clinical trial.
