Prof. Rammensee awarded with the Friedrich List Medal in Gold

🥳Another great recognition honoring the exceptional scientific work of one of Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen master minds of research of the past decades. Our member and former spokesperson 👨‍🔬 Hans-Georg Rammensee was awarded the 🥇 Friedrich List Medal in Gold of the IHK Reutlingen for his outstanding research findings in Immunology.

🔬Hans-Georg made key discoveries and laid essential foundations for personalized cancer therapy. With his contribution to research into 🧬 mRNA technology, he paved the way for novel, individualized vaccines. These vaccines became important worldwide during the 🦠 coronavirus pandemic.

🌍Rammensee made decisive contributions to companies such as Immatics, CureVac, Synimmune and ViferaXS, which are among the most successful players in biotechnology today.

🏅The Medal was awarded by IHK president Christian Erbe who emphasized how Rammensee "embodies innovative entrepreneurship and a creative spirit of research".

🏆The List Medal in Gold is the highest award of the IHK Reutlingen. It is awarded to outstanding personalities who have rendered outstanding services to the IHK or the Neckar-Alb region through many years of commitment.
