Prof. Rammensee honored for lifetime achievement

🔬 Early on, the Tübingen immunologist dedicated himself to research on individualized cancer vaccines and did international pioneering work with the elucidation of the recognition mechanisms of the T-cells of the immune system.

💉 In addition, together with his colleagues Prof. Jung, Dr. Ingmar Hörr and PD Dr. Reinhard Obst, he set the course for the fact that we are nowadays able to produce mRNA vaccines.

🏆 For his extraordinary achievements in the field of personalized cancer peptide vaccine development and cancer immunology, he has now been awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award 2023" by the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy CIMT in Mainz.
