Prof. Rammensee in radio interview with SWR2 on the subject of 4th corona vaccination

Federal Health Minister Lauterbach is calling on the Standing Commission on Vaccination to adjust its recommendations on the fourth Corona vaccination. He calls for recommendations for all age groups. So far, the Standing Commission on Vaccination recommends the fourth vaccination only for people over 70 and for some risk groups. Prof. Hans-Georg Rammensee is an immunologist at the University of Tübingen and works in the Cluster of Excellence iFIT. He told SWR Aktuell that he thinks nothing of a "vaccination every three months." "If you had an efficient vaccine, it would not be necessary at all, because the immune system has a memory. And you can't make it any better by vaccinating it again with the same vaccine."  Instead, vaccines adapted to new variants would have to be vaccinated, Rammensee said in an interview with SWR2 host Vanja Weingart.
