The Institute for Diabetes Research and Metabolic Diseases is part of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD e.V.). The primary research objective of the research groups working in the Institute for Diabetes Research and Metabolic Diseases is personalized prediction of diabetes risk abetes prevention as well as personalized therapy. A special focus is placed on gene-environment interaction.
