- Digital Prevention and Intervention for Internet Use Disorders and Gaming disorder
- Family-centered prevention, parent counseling, and media education in the digital context
- Methodological focus: randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, EMA and sensor-based methods
Current research projects / third-party funding
- SENSED-MH: A multicenter DZPG project on digital behavioral and risk factors for mental health in adolescence. Focus: social media and AI use, AI attachment, and digital risk factors. (Principal Investigator at the Tübingen site)
- SMART-Kids: A longitudinal study of the effects of a child’s first smartphone on attention and mental health. (Study Coordination, Tübingen Site)
- ISES!: Online training courses on digital parenting, with a focus on prevention and early intervention for problematic media use.
