We would be pleased if you would like to visit a relative or acquaintance who is in hospital with us. Contact with loved ones contributes to recovery and we want our patients to feel as comfortable as possible.

Visits to the normal wards are generally possible daily during the above-mentioned visiting times. Please note that there are different visiting times in some clinics or wards.

You must register your visit to the intensive care units and guard rooms.
Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons
You may of course stay with your relative during your stay. We can admit one relative per patient as an accompanying person. The medical staff will decide on a case-by-case basis whether there is a medical indication for admitting a relative. In this case, the health insurance company will cover the costs of the accompanying person's stay.
The accompanying person will receive a bed in the patient's room* and meals - depending on the ward, either via the patient service on the ward or via a voucher that can be redeemed in the cafeterias and casinos. This stay is usually free of charge for children up to the age of 9.

Catering
If you are visiting the clinic for an outpatient appointment or as an accompanying person, you can get hot meals, salads and drinks in our Berg Clinic canteen in the Schnarrenberg Conference Center or in the Tal Clinic canteen next to the Women's Clinic building.

Mon to Fri from 11.15 am - 2.30 pm
Payment can only be made in cash.
As an alternative to the casinos, you will find cafeterias with an extensive range of products in the respective clinics. In addition to cash payment, card payment is also possible here.

Art and culture
Exhibitions are held regularly on the hospital grounds. In and around the Tübingen clinics you will find regional art from the post-war period and the present day.

On the clinic grounds you will find cafeterias and a Mini market in the Crona clinics, where you can buy newspapers, sweets and toiletries as well as small gifts or bouquets of flowers.
Patient gardens
If the patient's state of health allows, you are welcome to extend the visit to the patient garden for a walk.
Worth a visit: The University town Tübingen
The student city offers a wide range of shopping opportunities and a large cultural program. The old town and the Neckar front invite you to take a leisurely stroll in front of a medieval backdrop. The venerable university buildings are reminiscent of great names and a long history. Parks and green spaces, fountains and squares are idyllic recreational islands.
