Beginning in 2018, the University of Tübingen seized the opportunity to conduct a longitudinal study assessing the implementation of the Nursing B.Sc. primary qualification program. This study accompanies nursing students and vocational trainees throughout their qualification education (nursing B.Sc. or nursing training) and employs a mix-methods approach.
The collected data provide insights into commonalities between students and trainees, highlighting potential differences and revealing correlations. In the qualitative part of the study, the focus is on students and their challenges in the program, as well as their professional self-concept.
