The historic building of the University Hospital for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy on the grounds of the Kliniken Tal has been a dominant feature of Tübingen's cityscape above the old town since 1895. Right next door is the home of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The clinic complex also includes the newly built Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic (PIA) as well as the Wildermuthstraße Day Clinic and the Day Clinic for the Elderly.
