Competence Center for Eating Disorders Tübingen (KOMET)

About us

Eating disorders are serious illnesses - they cause lasting damage to physical and mental health and can even lead to death. Most sufferers need professional counseling and support to return to problem-free eating behavior. The earlier this happens in the course of the disease, the greater the likelihood of successful treatment.

Based on many years of experience in the research and treatment of people with eating disorders at the University Hospital Tübingen, the Competence Center for Eating Disorders Tübingen (KOMET) was founded in 2014.

More about us

KOMET is the first university competence center for eating disorders in Germany that focuses on the treatment and research of eating disorders across the lifespan.
