Psychotherapy and Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic

(for privately insured patients and self-pay patients)

This treatment program is designed for individuals with private health insurance and those paying out of pocket who are experiencing mental health issues or disorders, or who wish to pursue personal change and growth. We offer scientifically grounded counseling and therapy based on the latest findings in modern psychiatry and psychotherapy.

During an initial consultation, following a detailed medical history and diagnostic evaluation, we assess your individual treatment needs and jointly decide on the next steps in your treatment.

For specific conditions, we collaborate with the specialized outpatient clinics at our hospital. If, based on our assessment, inpatient or day-hospital treatment is initially recommended, we will discuss this with you.

At our outpatient clinic, we generally offer psychotherapy with weekly sessions. In specific treatment situations, we also offer psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment with therapy sessions tailored to individual needs. We offer state-of-the-art approaches in behavioral therapy (ACT, CBASP, DBT, IPT, schema therapy) and depth psychology-based psychotherapy.

As an alternative to psychotherapy, we can also support you through coaching if you are seeking personal change and growth. Coaching typically involves only a few sessions. The topics are related to everyday life and are not classified as medical conditions. As a result, health insurance does not cover the costs, and you may need to pay out of pocket.

In certain treatment situations, therapy can be conducted via video calls. We can also offer outpatient treatment in the following foreign languages: English and French.

Team

Our treatment team consists of physicians and psychologists (specialists in psychiatry and psychotherapy, physicians in training, and psychological psychotherapists) with various areas of expertise.
The private outpatient clinic is led by Professor Dr. Andreas Fallgatter and Professor Dr. Benjamin Kreifelts.
