Neuroanatomy

Successful neurosurgery is only possible with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy. In close cooperation with the Clinical Anatomy Department in Tübingen and medical technology companies, research and teaching is carried out on anatomical specimens. This enables the continuous transfer of proven and newly developed therapeutic strategies from the dissection room to the operating theater - for the benefit of our patients.

Research focuses on innovations in the field of microsurgical access routes, the development and advancement of endoscopic and exoscopic optics as well as the testing and development of microsurgical instruments. As part of our teaching activities, we regularly organize in-clinic training series for the further training of our surgeons and set highlights for our colleagues from Germany and abroad with courses such as the TCNA course.
