After making an appointment by telephone, a preliminary discussion will be held at an agreed time to clarify the reason for the treatment and to present our range of treatments. A tour of the day clinic can also take place within this framework.

Alternatively, it is possible to visit the day clinic first without a preliminary talk and to find out about the therapy programme.

Treatment

Treatment

Our therapy services are for people who, with our support, can manage in their usual environment during evenings and weekends.

Admission is possible for people

  • between 18 and 50 years of age (for persons over 50 we recommend the day clinic for the elderly)
  • who suffer from a mental illness (e.g. personality disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, psychoses)
  • for whom outpatient treatment is not sufficient
  • following full inpatient treatment to facilitate the transition to everyday life.

A dependency disorder should not be the main focus; in this case, treatment in the addiction day clinic is recommended. A highly acute psychosis or an existing danger to oneself or others usually make full inpatient treatment necessary.

The day clinic treatment takes place from

Monday to Friday
9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

  • The regular duration of treatment is at least 4 weeks and is determined individually.
  • The treatment costs are covered by the health insurance.

Objectives

Objectives for a treatment:

These are developed together with our patients.

They concern the reduction of the symptoms of the disease, clarification of personal conflicts accompanied by a better understanding of oneself, coping with everyday problems, support in dealing with authorities and employers and, if necessary, the initiation of rehabilitative measures in the areas of housing and work.

Another focus will be the clarification of further therapeutic measures after the day clinic.
