Forensic psychiatric outpatient clinic

We offer psychiatric-psychotherapeutic services for people who have come into conflict with the law due to a mental disorder/mental illness.

The outpatient clinic is licensed in accordance with the administrative regulation of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Social Affairs on presentation and therapy instructions in forensic outpatient clinics for the regional care of people who are resident in the district court districts of Hechingen (Sigmaringen and Zollernalbkreis districts) and Tübingen (Reutlingen, Tübingen and Calw districts). Settlement is mainly at the expense of the judiciary.

People who have been released from penal institutions and the penitentiary system as well as people on probation with corresponding court orders are admitted.

In the event of foreseeable release from a penal or penitentiary institution, admission to the outpatient clinic will take place as early as possible via the preparatory admission procedure.

Please send us a copy of this (preferably as a pdf):

  • Reasoned judgment
  • any psychiatric / criminal prognostic reports
  • Brief summary of the course of accommodation / treatment to date
  • Court order with the relevant instructions (if already available)

Prevention outpatient clinic
for sexual and violent delinquency

Our cross-gender service is aimed at people from the region who

  • feel sexually attracted to children/young people
  • suspect that they have pedophilic tendencies
  • consider themselves to be at risk of committing a pedosexual offense
  • suffer from sexual fantasies or impulses
  • consume abusive images (child pornography)
  • react with violence in conflict situations and want to change something about it

Our therapeutic offer is intended to identify risk factors for sexual and physical boundary violations in the target group mentioned and to positively influence behavioral abnormalities. Furthermore, the frequency and severity of the use of abusive images should be reduced, taking into account the intrapsychic experience and behavior, and child sexual abuse should be prevented as far as possible.

Clients can obtain low-threshold and anonymous information about the therapy offer by telephone or e-mail and make initial contact with the therapeutic team.

It can then be clarified whether there is an indication for individual therapy. If treatment is indicated, contact with an individual therapist can be established quickly. During the initial contact, the client's current situation can be assessed and motivation for therapy can be built up.

After a detailed psychiatric diagnosis, individual therapy goals are developed, such as

  • How can I express my feelings appropriately?
  • How can I learn to control my sexual impulses?
  • How can I get my aggression under control?
  • How can I manage social relationships?
  • How do I deal with my addiction?
